Games are in the mail!
almost 1 year ago – Tue, Mar 28, 2023 at 07:55:02 PM

Hey everybody! I'm happy to report that the games arrived Friday, I spent the weekend packaging many of them up, and got them in the mail first thing Monday morning. Some people have already started receiving them.

Some folks have not provided an address, and I've reached out directly via email. Please check your inbox or junk mail for a message from me regarding that.

There are a couple of international shipments that are taking a little longer, but I plan to have that sorted and those shipped by the end of the week.

If you are confident you've provided everything that was asked, and have not gotten a shipping confirmation, please reach out so that I can get your game to you.

It's been a long wait, but amazingly we managed to hit the estimate delivery date for most folks. There's a game I backed on Kickstarter in June of 2021 that I'm still waiting on, so I'm especially happy with the results of this first outing.

The Pre-Order store will remain open for a few more weeks until I transition to a more conventional store front, at which point the price will go up to its regularly scheduled MSRP.

If you like the game, feel free to let the world know! If you're not happy, feel free to tell me why. There are a lot more ideas in the pipeline that I hope to bring forth, so please stay tuned.

Thank you again, everyone!

Backerkit addresses will lock Saturday
about 1 year ago – Thu, Mar 23, 2023 at 05:47:33 PM

Hey everyone! The game is in the US and on a truck headed this way. I've been gathering mailing supplies and am preparing to start the process of fulfillment. If you need to update your mailing address, please do so asap!

With any luck, the next update will be to let you know that the game is in the mail!

Thanks!

The decks are on the water!
about 1 year ago – Thu, Feb 23, 2023 at 06:45:32 PM

This is usually when a creator posts an update that, due to circumstances beyond their control, shipping of the decks has been delayed beyond the previous estimate, and the order will be later than expected.

This is not that post.

The decks shipped two weeks sooner than expected!

I won't have a tracking number until they clear customs and are in a truck headed for me, but they are currently somewhere on the Pacific, cruising for a west coast port.

Generic Cargo ship

The orders should be locked in at this point, but you can still make any changes to your address right up until I actually ship out the games to everyone.

Confirmation of print completion date: February 22nd
about 1 year ago – Thu, Jan 26, 2023 at 08:08:38 PM

Hey everyone! Another quick update from me. Unfortunately, they were not able to get our print in before the factory shut down for Chinese New Year, so the actual printing got pushed out a month. With that timeline, plus 6-8 weeks for shipping across the Pacific, we're looking at fulfillment in early April.

Regarding Backerkit surveys, I'm planning to keep those open until the end of February. You will still be able to update your shipping address right up until I ship them, though!

For those that ordered additional decks via Backerkit, I was holding off on charging cards until fulfillment, but was reminded that this can mess up people's budgeting, so I'll take care of that in the next couple of weeks.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Proof approved! Digital copies ready!
over 1 year ago – Wed, Dec 21, 2022 at 08:39:04 PM

Hello there! Quick update for everyone. The digital proof was just approved! That should be the last roadblock to getting into the printing timeline.

As for the print and play version, the PDF has been uploaded to Backerkit, which is what we're using to distribute the digital downloads. I'm working to get that distributed in the next couple of days to everyone who has completed the survey. Most of you already have, so thank you very much!

If you have any questions about the survey, or have not received it, please reach out and we can address those issues.

Happy holidays!!
